The United States will have five crews racing this weekend at the 2005 World Rowing Under 23 Championships on the Bosbaan International Regatta Course in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Cafaro recently won a gold medal at the NCAA Championships as a member of the University of California varsity women’s eight.
The Bosbaan will hold the 2006 World Rowing Junior Championships, a stage of the 2007 BearingPoint Rowing World Cup and is currently bidding to host the 2009 World Rowing Championships.
Carle, a University of Michigan rower who is the sister of men’s quad member Dustin, won a bronze medal in the junior women’s eight at the 2002 Junior World Championships.
Formerly known as the Nation's Cup and the Match des Seniors, 2005 marks the first time that the Under 23 regatta has held Rowing Championship” status.

Kosmicki, a Harvard University rower, and Ochal, from Princeton University, are past junior national team athletes.
USRowing is a nonprofit organization recognized by the United States Olympic Committee as the governing body for the sport of rowing in the United States.
Dryer, who rowed for Brown University in college, was a three-time junior world championships medalist, while Sickler, who rowed for the University of Michigan, was a 2001 Junior World Championships silver medalist.
Hearne, who is attending Princeton University, is the only member of the boat with past national team experience, having raced at two junior world championships.
