Malaga (ESP) - During a site visit to the Malaga 2008 Water Polo European Championships, it has been celebrated the draw for the Qualification Round 2 of the Euro League 2006-07.
Aquatics will be one of the sports featured during the upcoming Special Olympics European Youth Games when 250 swimmers from 51 countries will compete in 14 events; three events will be for swimmers with low ability.
People were dancing in the streets, hundreds of cars hooting with people lying on the roofs or sitting on the bonnets waving national flags – that’s how the Serbs celebrated the European gold medal won by their men’s national team.
It was also appreciated that this year’s European Championships in Swimming, Diving, Open Water Swimming and Synchronised Swimming in Budapest and Lake Balaton (Hungary) as well as in Water Polo in Belgrade (Serbia) proved to be a great success.
European Masters Championships in swimming, diving, open water swimming and synchronised swimming which will take place in.
In the women’s event the Netherlands, Greece and Germany booked the last European places since Italy, Spain, Hungary and Russia had previously qualified.
