Rock won the 400-meter dash with a United States Olympic Trials qualifying time and was a member of UW-La Crosse's national champion 4 x 400-meter relay at the 2004 NCAA Division III outdoor championship as the Eagles won their fourth straight national crown.
Rock is a nine-time national champion (six individual; three relays) and 17-time conference champion (11 individual; six relays).

Rock, who finished sixth in the 400-meter dash at the 2004 United States Olympic Trials, has been a member of two 4x400-meter relays since the trials.
